Hello guys.

I installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L.

I'm running 10.6.5 flawlessly except for one thing, video.

In case any of you are wondering :angry2:

I used a Retail Snow Leo Disc. I made a USB Installation key for Snow Leopard with myHack 1.1.4. It used Chameleon RC5. I restored the DVD and ran myHack. I selected IONetworkingFamily, Graphics Disabler, NullCPUPowerManagement, SleepEnabler, Evoreboot, and Boot.plist. I installed without the card. Install ran fine. After installation I re-ran myHack, select the exact same kexts I used earlier, except this time I installed it to the drive I installed Snow Leopard on. Then I installed the 10.6.4 combo update and installed 10.6.5 via Apple Software Update.

I installed OS X in VESA mode without my video card.

See, I'm in 10.6.5 right now, and I want to install my video card.

It's a Sapphire HD 4550, 512MB GDDR3.

And I want to use the DVI Port on the card for my monitor.

If anyone has the HD 4550 working fully with QE/CI and all resolutions in Snow Leopard--and they're willing to share--that'd be GREAT!
