My hackintosh intel core i7 860 @ 2.9 GHz ATI HD 5770 4GB DDR3 Mac Osx snow leopard 10.6.4 i am just asking if i update something will messed up !! dothacker Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Maybe it'll mess up, maybe it'll not. The best advice to you if you want to update it to 10.6.5 is to REMOVE sleepenabler.kext, and back-up ur IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorage.kext. If your audio disappears after the install, use the last kext you used for your audio... whether it be VoodooHDA or something else. Same as for your NIC.
