cj95
I want to install SL on my pc. Can I just get the dvd from my sister which just bought a MBP15" in September? or is it different and only works on the same MBP? Thanks
Hagar
Yes it is possible, but it comes under the heading of "advanced" and is a lot more work than retail, unless you are an experienced user. Chances are, if you are asking this question, the answer for you is "no".
cj95
Can you tell me the steps that i can take? you don't need to go into detail.
cj95
Well I'm under 10.6.5 now and fully working. Installed from 15" MBP dvd. You need to have some sort of osx running( i had a leopard 10.5.6) , then you make a dmg out of the dvd then you replace the osinstall.mpkg with a patched one so you don't get the alert thing. there you go.
