I just installed 10.6.2 on my Vostro 1710 and everything is working good except for one weird problem I've never seen before. Alright so when I close my lid the DVD drive keeps ejecting every five seconds or so. It's a slot load dvd drive so that's why it can keep ejecting. I here a spin sound(like it's trying to eject a disc). Well here it is. This should keep you guys on your toes. Has anyone ever heard of this? What can I do? Zero Xion Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 In my life and in all my research about troubleshots of hackintosh, never heard about it, even my laptop that the disk reader acts like in boot making a adjusment sound every 3 or 5 minutes is not any like your problem, try other hacintosh version to see if happens the same, anything else keep the tray open or stuck with something to evade distract you (im concient this post can end on failblog.org) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
