FranticJohny
Seems that you are using NVenabler.kext set graphicsenabler=yes and delete NVenabler and run kextutility before reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/236724-drivers-or-kext-for-nvidia-gt220/#findComment-1581767 Share on other sites
beyondtool1
I have followed these steps without success with a ASUS Nvidia 210 videocard. I have also tried editing NVDA files and adding the hardware ID of the card, using nvenabler64 and just using graphics enabler with efi strings. And yes I remove nvenabler, before I tried using efi. I spent many hours trying to get it working. I have had some success as the card is being detected and shows up in system profiler, I even have a resolution of 1280x1024 but it is not running QE and time machine just runs in a limited graphics safe mode. Looks like the inbuilt nvidia kexts just do not support this graphics card (using SL 10.6.4). Giving up and picking up an 8400GS instead.
