iztel Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 For some reason the volume slider has no effect on the volume level. It's either on or off. The only way I can lower or raise the volume is in whatever media player I'm using like flash or vlc. hardware: Running 10.6.4 vanilla kernel MB: ASUS P7H55 M-LE BIOS AMI v2.61 CPU: INTEL i3 Core 540 Graphics Card: EVGA Geforce GT 220 1gb RAM: Corsair XMS3 DDR3 4gb HD: WD 500gb DVD: LG IDE DVDRW Any ideas? This is what I've found for the onbourd audio VIA VT1708S 8-Channel High Definition Audio Codec - Support Multi-Streaming I installed the kext dothacker posted but it didn't seem to help Sleep mode also doesn't seem to be working.
