MaLd0n
This works.. however, If I change my smbios.plist to show a MacPro 5,1 with the i7 processor using #####, the machine will freeze at the apple loading screen at boot. I have also attached the /Extra folder as I had to make a few changes to it to get things working. oh, and I am running OSX 10.5.6. Any ideas? 10.5? Leopard? Use MacPro4,1 Extra.zip do not use ##### you do not need Extra folder + DSDT + Chameleon RC5 use -v see the error Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/235523-dsdt-auto-patcher/page/17/#findComment-1590331 Share on other sites

Chrisfromiowa
I unchecked wake fix, force wake from RC5. Got it to wake up. A while back I put these into the boot plist <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> They showed up in RC5 as a selectable box. Will RC5 do that with anything that has a yes or no string? Cool. Am at work so I cant send you my boot plist, until tonight. I tried the newest VooDooHDA, it works but not as well as the other one. I'm going to keep trying until I get a crash or proper sound. Once again, thank you for all of your help. You are a giant, a colossus of hacking grit and persistence. Really, thank you.
