mac osx installation problem =(

Hii all..

 

i have a i7 970.. gtx 980 graphic card and 12 gb ram (2000 mhz) and asus rampage 3 extreme motherboard.. i cant install mac os x when its loading darwin my comp restarting.. pls help me what can i do about that.. i have to install mac os x for my works.. thanks for ur helps ( i tried iatkos s3 v2 ,stellas magic.. and 1 more everything samee =(( help me plss )))

I don't know if this is what's causing it, but it's usually recommended to remove all but 4GB of ram for the installation.

my friend told me that it ll be kernels panic problem.. but i dont know whats that =) pls help help help =)

In a kernel panic, one of two things could happen. In one situation, the screen gets covered up by white text on a black background which describes exactly what went wrong, like a BSoD on Windows. The other thing is a gray box pops up that says "You need to restart your computer..." in 4 languages.

Hi! I have a problem too! I recently install iDeneb on my PC with succeed, but I had already installed chameleon on windows but not in mac now when I want to boot from my mac's partition i can't. How can I install chameleon without going into MacOS... is possible that?

i think its not kernel panic because i booted cd and when i see grey apple icon my comp restarting =( and not resuming installation

And for the orginial Poster, try fixing permissions or booting into verbose mode with the -v flag... itll help you see where the system goes haywire and reboot.

 

Id honestly say try *IPC 10.5.6 PPF5 Final* or *Leo4All*... Personally IPC is my favourite as it is the only one that worked for me so far... the others take forever to load the installer/never loads sometimes.

i unplugged 6 gb ram and tried ipc but its same.. =( when i tried to boot with -v i recorded the screen.. pls help me ...

i tried it too =(( same same same.. it just shows me apple logo a half second more =((i think i cant install =(((

have you checked your BIOS Settings,

 

Check No Executable status in bios (NX/XD) it should be enabled to make vanilla kernel works, also cpuid limit should be disabled.

 

and hpet should be enabled, if such option exists

i tried cpus=1 busratio=25 and setup starteddd =))))))) thankss a lot... i didnt installed osx yet because im gonna buy new hd for osx.. than im gonna install it but i think i dont have no more problem.. am i right?? (cpus=1 means start with 1 core i think..?? if its true am i not gonna use 6 core in osx?? )

Glad it helped you. Normally, after the 10.6.4 Combo Update, it should boot without these flags. Otherwise, you should do "cpus=6 busratio=25" and it should do the job.

thanks.. but i have 1 more question =) i tried cpus=2 or 3.. installation not working restarting again.. just 1 works.. and i have snow leopard cd and i want to install that but i installed iathlon cd but i cant write anything during the booting how can i add diffrent booting options..
