Has anyone successfully enabled QE/CI and all other graphics related features with the nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+ Graphics card ON SNOW LEOPARD.

All of the helpful threads (like aquamac's and ~pcwiz's) have been specifically for leopard and did not work for me on snow leopard

Also if it makes any difference i'm using 64-bit SL

Thank you very much for your help!

If you have the retail SL disk and install using any of the install methods available SL will automatically detect your card and install the appropriate settings to enable all graphics features. Yes everything is supported. Nobody will respond telling you how to do it. That is what the search function is for. All the info you need is here in the forum for you to find.

You can also check out this web page for a lot of useful info. http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/02/ton...f-contents.html

One other thing. Once u have your card working you will know if you do if you have opaque drop down menu. The info in System Profiler does not mention QE/CI or other things Leopard use to mention.

Thank you for responding and for the record I have used the "search function" and as I stated above "All of the helpful threads (like aquamac's and ~pcwiz's) have been specifically for leopard and did not work for me on snow leopard"

Just to clarify, as I am using the retail copy of Snow Leopard, it should automatically identify and enable the proper graphics features?

My drop down bar is opaque so, that is not the case. Given that I cannot view pictures and Front Row doesn't work, I am pretty sure that all graphics functions are not enabled.

Again, thank you for your help and I will revisit that website and give it another look
