JohnFM3
When I play movies, the video is sketchy. Audio seems to play fine, but the video will stall and jump thru out the movie. Most movies are MPG and AVI created with xine and w32codec. Any ideas how to track and troubleshoot? John
Gringo Vermelho
Use the VLC media player and enable logging. Check the logs for clues. Run console.app and look at kernel.log, system.log. It can be a timing issue (kernel, CPU), an IRQ conflict (fixable in DSDT) or something more simple such as video hardware acceleration not working properly or at all. brockwitting
take a look at Activity Monitor as well, and check your CPU usage. I am curious, because I am having a similar issue with video lagging due to my CPU spiking in usage on core 0, and no one has been able to offer a fix.
