Fugu
I dont think you should expect an universal VLC binary soon. The developers have answered simular question in the VLC forum: * We plan to release such a binary once we can get our hands on x86-OSX and it is released officially. I personally doubt that we will release anything sooner, since major work on our current compilation system has to be done for that purpose. * Well, it's not a simple recompile to get a universal binary. A typical binary for OSX consists of at least 30 libraries and even more VLC modules. All of them need to be ported to x86-OSX. http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=11930http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=11696 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2337-vlc-universal-binary/#findComment-15225 Share on other sites
cabron
For now, try this compilation what i've found here: http://www.osx86.theplaceforitall.com/software/ Works damn faster but i don't have accelerated video card to view divx and any movies on fullscreen for this, grab the mplayerx86 (there is a topic here in applications forum, take a search) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2337-vlc-universal-binary/#findComment-15310 Share on other sites
