    Quicktime 7.02 bad for SSE3?

I can't seem to find any good threads about the new quicktime. Does the new quicktime not work at all with OSx86? This info should be stickied.

    iTunes 4.9 universal binary?

Is iTunes 4.9 that comes with the developer install a uni binary? If so, will it perform much better than 5.0 on a SSE2 pentium M?

QE and CI on Intel 35828086 (855 chipset)

What is the proper way to get QE working on a 855?
  6. I deleted the installation checks and the app installed fine and didn't fuss about hardware during installation. After that, I tired to run the app and it spits this out: "This computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for ______" I've browsed around the .app and couldn't find anything similar to "hardwarecheck". Is there any solution?
  7. Im trying to delete files within a .dmg to avoid hardware checks but when I try to delete the file in bash with "rm" it says "override rwxr-xr-x shao/shao for InstallationCheck?" and I don't know where to go from here. Maybe I need to set proper permissions on the mounted volume or maybe I need to extract the entire .dmg instead of mounting it?

    Working Wireless (USB and Ralink)

I just picked up a DWL-G122 r.B1 and it works great with the new driver from ralink. Seems like the new driver wireless utility works now.

    Working Wireless (USB and Ralink)

Looks like ralink has put up new drivers. Do these work or do I need the older ones?

    Getting around hardware checks

Would it be possible to get around a hardware check (ie. Processor check for G4/G5) by installing it on a proper PPC mac and then copying the install over to the OSx86 machine? If so, what files/dirs should I copy for an app like shake?
  13. Are there any known working USB wired networking adapters?
