Shaithis Posted August 2, 2006 Share Posted August 2, 2006 System is: Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi (P965, ICH8R, Yukon LAN, SoundMax) P805D (Will be switching to Conroe in 1-2 weeks) eVGA 7800GT (X1900XTX when it returns from RMA ) Areca 1210 RAID contoller SB X-Fi Fatal1ty I have the JAS 10.4.6 DVD and the 10.4.7 update So far, from the reading I have been doing, I *think* this is all going to work, with the following caveats: 1) I can get my DVD ROM drive to boot while attached to a SATA port via an IDE>SATA converter. (PATA port uses JMicron JMB363) 2) When I install the X1900, it will only work with a DVI>VGA dongle 3) I will need to use the SoundMax (ADI1988B) instead of the X-Fi 4) I will need to use a stand-alone SATA drive, rather then my RAID array Any hints/tips for the hardware I have?
