Supernova83
Hi, now everything works perfectly with SL 10.6.3, but only @32bit. If I press "6" & "4" in the boot I get a Kernel Panic. If I want update to SL 10.6.4 what are the steps that I should do and what kext I need? PS. Explanation for run SL @64bit are welcome!
Gringo Vermelho
If I want update to SL 10.6.4 what are the steps that I should do and what kext I should keep an eye? Depending on how you're patching things to work on your hardware you might lose ethernet, sound or video. Or all three. Otherwise you should be able to just run the update straight from Apple! It's not possible to say really without knowing what you have done to get sound, ethernet and video working on your installation. Check if there's you have an arch=i386 kernel flag in your com.apple.Boot.plist. Try removing it and OS X should boot into 64-bit mode by itself - provided all your drivers (ie your modifications) are 64-bit compatible of course. Gringo Vermelho
If it's connected to the Marvell PATA controller you need SuperVIAATA.kext. Download Link: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...st&id=77975 If the DVD drive is a SATA drive, make sure it's connected to a red SATA port, those ports belong to the Intel SATA controller.
