Hatorade Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 I have all these programs for OSX and they all install fine, just freezes when I goto use any of the programs. Adobe CS freezes during installation. Is this supposed to happen? I've read most people have all these programs working. What am I doing wrong? And MS Office freezes when I open a program. Rockett Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 If your MS Office is freezing on "Bulding font cache" (may not be exactly that) install Onyx and run a full system maintenance. I had this issue twice and this cleared it up both times. Could be just a disk perm issue. Downloading a different iWork install... Anyone know how to fix the crashes? Hatorade Posted August 2, 2006 Author Share Posted August 2, 2006 yes. here's the deal: I installed Osx86 on my desktop and laptop (using same iso install). I updated ilife software and used oynx to repair permissions. I movie completely crashes on my desktop but on my laptop I can get to the beginning screen with the black boxes. When I import a video file, it freezes.
