bpeugh
So, does anything actually have a working audio in? I know the Apple products do but am not sure about other things. What have people found that does? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22879-working-audio-in/ Share on other sites
Maxster
Me too I would like to know what works for input. I have the output on my HD Audio Integrated sound card working but the input doesn't work. I would really like to have something that will give me input, may it be a pci sound card or a usb device, I don't care, as long as it inputs sound. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22879-working-audio-in/#findComment-153534 Share on other sites
El Massman
i've got a working audio in on an intel d945gtp. the integrated sound works fine with a little kext editing except all the ports are messed up. (speakers have to be plugged into line in and microphone into rear speaker out) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22879-working-audio-in/#findComment-153595 Share on other sites
Mahz
Using a Philips PSC805 USB soundcard, I actually ONLY have Sound In. I have no idea what chipset it uses though. Oh and if anyone could help out getting Sound Out to work, I'd be very grateful .. And I need the audio input. Can you explain how did you get it? Thanks!! Ted Cox
I have mic in on my Abit NV8 (nForce 4x), although it's very quiet even with the volume cranked. I've been trying to get Skype to work, but it always sounds like I'm whispering. rogabean
Aye my rev. 2 kext of the sigmatel 9223 will give you input... but in the wrong port, but it will work. I'm curious as to whether or not the turtle beach usb advantage amigo will work for input. i know the micro works for output... just dont know about the amigo for input and dont wanna blow 60 bucks on testing that theory. perhaps usb mics might work...
