vbetts
Open up the terminal, and type this in. diskutil list Remember the name of the HDD.Should be disk0 by default. This is only if you have Mac OS X86 only on your HDD. If you dual boot, then remember the name of the partition you used for X86. Open a new shell, and type this in now. fdisk fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 or the name of the partition, or HDD. write It will ask you something, I forget what, but just put y Should say offset something. Can't entirely remember. Reboot your machine, and it should boot up. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22854-vmware-install-b0-error/#findComment-151293 Share on other sites

I think you need to do "sudo fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0" and before you "write", you set the partition active with "f 1" (the whole purpose of this exercise) Go to my Fdisk guide for step-by-step instructions: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844 (edit: corrected link) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22854-vmware-install-b0-error/#findComment-151360 Share on other sites
