Gringo Vermelho
You seem to be running Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard doesn't show information about QE/CI in system profiler, your output there looks perfectly healthy. Are you sure you don't have acceleration? If your menu bar is translucent and you see a ripple effect when adding a widget, then QE/CI is enabled and working. In some cases it can even cause reduced performance. I've seen other people having no luck with 0x0613 9800GTX+ cards. Mine is 0x0612 and all 3 outputs work flawlessly with full feature set - rotation, mirroring and acceleration, overscan on the analog TV-out and so on. The only issue is non-working hotplugging from Analog TV-out to secondary DVI output. Oddly the other way works fine. Ok I have the translucent Menu bar but how do I test if the ripple effect is working? zoob
Ok I have the translucent Menu bar but how do I test if the ripple effect is working? Hit F12, drag a new widget into the space and it should show waves rippling from your widget. grady.lynch
It didn't ripple. Also preview doesn't show an image, rather a blank white space. How do I enable whatever I need to? wait nvm i dont think the menu bar is transparent. Its silver, not white though (not like Tiger's menu bar) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/226513-nvidia-9800-gtx-not-fully-functioning/#findComment-1520610 Share on other sites
