I have a fully working Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on my Dell Inspiron 1545. Just a while ago I installed some kexts as the guide I was following said to do so. When I rebooted in verbose mode, I got a kernel panic. Can someone please identify what is causing this, and what i should delete to resolve this?

Thanks

Looks like it's the OHR kext (OpenHaltRestore).

search for aserebln bootloader, this incorporates the required fix for for shutdown/restart on some cpus, part of the bios table gets patched on the fly i believe.

However, still some issue with restarting after sleep with it. Need to work that one out! Seems to be an issue for my quad core.

Cheers
