Hello,every InsanelyMacers!

I have successfully installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Retail dmg on my newly buyed AMD-PC. However, when I tried to figure out my SoundCard, nothing happend, or just crashed down.

I've tried VoodooHDA.kext, all versions ,not work. The kext of ALC888 or ALC889a not work yet. Also , Some documents say that AppleHDA-Patcher & LegacyHDA-Patcher with DSDT just work only on Intel, not for AMD......

Ooooooops......... Does anybody can give me a guide, how to work out my soundcard?

Thanks

Hey, Thanks for your hint....

After installing the AppleAzaliaAudio.kext, my ALC892 SOUNDS, although accompanied with a lot of "zzzz"-noise when playing music.

I am now trying to fix it....

p.s. AppleAzaliaAudio.kext do not include mic or headphone options......

oooooops, sorry SIRBOW2, I have miscliked the "REPORT" button on your reply..... :o

I just want to reply

i got my soound working use the latest experimental v262 you can find it HERE make sure you get snow or leo, which ever one you need, install it to your /S/L/E folder with Kext Helper or something.

it wont work in /E/E

i only got audio out on headphones(front case connector), HDMI, and SPDIF. mic(front and back) you have a similar mobo so you will prob get the same or similar but i guess its better than none :(;)
