Hey guys, I wanted to ask if I can update my Snow Leopard 10.6.0 up to 10.6.4 or atleast 10.6.2.

It would be so nice if someone could help me and tell me if thats possible.

So, I already tried this, I downloaded the 10.6.1 patch from apples Homepage and installed.

Btw. everything was fine after the Retail installation, all kext were super and worked.

But after the installation I got the maybe most retarded five words: "still waiting for root divice".

So, I tried it with -x, no chance, combinations with -x, -v, -f didnt help.

But maybe it was the IDE drive I used to instal Snow Leo there?!

I dont know, maybe someone can help! =)

Hi there,

From what i see and the little experience i got , i think your bootloader is screwed up, you probably need to reboot with the boot cd from chameleon, or whatever homebrew cd you made and when you get to the boot screen choose your Snow leopard HD then boot, it's supposed to get you there. Then re-install the bootloader from your desktop.

I hope it's gonna work for you
