Sam0r
I need a bit of help with getting my sound running. I've got an IBM NetVista box, which has a Pentium 4 1.8ghz processor, It obviously only supports SSE2 which isn't a problem. The real problem, is that audio doesn't work. I've been to hell and back trying, and nothing works! Apparently its an ICH2 chip, so that would mean I have to edit the section in the Info.plist file with my dev and ven id's, which i've done. the correct id's were already there. Loading the kext works fine, but i STILL don't have any sound. I'm not starting up in safe mode, everything is 100% native. Someone help me please! Before i end up completely bald.. kernalzero
did you ever have any luck with the netvista? i'm looking into buying one for pretty cheap and would like to use it as a basic apple-media center type system. if the sound doesn't work it obviously won't work for that application. thanks!
