Hi guys...

Now, I'm desperate, I've been trying to fix this for two days. Nothing.

Searched everything.

I've been trying to install 10.6, I've attached the SS of the error I'm on.

Could you please help me, do you need additional info?

I've been trying to run this on a Rampage II Extreme board (X58, ICH10R), i7 920...

The kext list is attached.

Hello,

I got my system running 10.8.5 pretty well, but I'm experiencing some trouble with my SerialAtapi device too.

My system hangs with some entry in logs :

20/09/13 21:06:33,000 kernel[0]: SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)
20/09/13 21:06:33,000 kernel[0]: SerialATAPI Terminating due to unrecoverable Reset error - drive has stopped responding.  (resetType = 0x0, newPowerState = 0x1, failedCommandInfo = 0x1)
20/09/13 21:09:20,000 kernel[0]: AppleAHCIDiskQueueManager::setPowerState(0xffffff803228b600, 2 -> 1) timed out after 100371 ms
20/09/13 21:11:24,000 kernel[0]: IOAHCIBlockStorageDriver: could not recover SATA HDD after 5 attempts, terminating
My motherboard is a rampage 3 extreme and my Sata BD burner is on the ich10 controller. It's a LG CH10LS20.

I unchecked the drive sleep option in energy parameters, I tried a script that probe the drive with "drutil info" but my system still hangs.

I did not patch my dsdt for sata.

I use appleacpiplatform.kext from snow leopard to boot normally fast. And I use macpro5,1 smbios.

If somebody could help me with this I would really appreciate !

Thanks for reading and sorry for the necro.
