vbetts Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 My dad just got a G4 tower, and as you know or should know, it comes with the Rage 128.The Rage 128 can't run Halo.And, my dad loves that game.(Mind you he's 43.Rofl.) But, I want to know, can you flash the bios from a PC Radeon 9000 to a 9000 Mac edition? In the newer radeon cards, you can do this to open up more pipes on the card, and this is sort of like it.But, can you do it? Halo takes a lot of system resources. I don't know how it is for Mac, but on a Windows PC it takes next to nothing in resources.Now, a game that's a resource hog on ANY system, it's Quake 4. But, the Velocity engine in the G4 wouldn't boost performance to atleast run Halo?
