Cheers, I have an Inspiron 1720 and I got past the kernel panic using the 32-bit RTC option. I am still looking for video drivers that work. In order to login the first time, I am booting up for the first time in single-user mode and deleting the video kexts [rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelGMAX3100*] Of course, if you don't have the Intel Integrated Graphics, you may not have the same problem as me. DimaFern
I have mounted mac partition from windows using macdrive and deleted /Extra/Extensions/ElliotForceLegacyRTC.kext Successfully booted. 64 or 32 bit it boots. But all operations are very slow, it seems that IO operations block everything else. It's hard to move a mouse. Don't know what kexts to load. Any ideas? Already tried AppleIntelPIIXATA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221408-iatkos-s3-on-dell-e1505/#findComment-1509939 Share on other sites
