Romano2K
Hello! I now have a hackintosh working pretty well thanks to the help of the community. Still, I have a little issue with my graphics card. If I plug both my monitor and my TV on my ATI Radeon HD 4850, the TV becomes the main display, although it's plugged on the DVI output which is the farest of the motherboard (and which is therefore the secondary output with Windows and Linux). How can I fix that? Is there a DSDT fix? Thank you! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/219024-outputs-of-my-graphics-card-are-inverted/ Share on other sites
Rushabh
Easy! its not a hackintosh problem Its a feature of mac's goto system prefs-display and drag the menu bar from the preview of the tv to the monitor Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/219024-outputs-of-my-graphics-card-are-inverted/#findComment-1472607 Share on other sites
Romano2K
Wow it's quite simple but... It's more a workaround than a real solution. Is there any way to make the nearest DVI output truely the main output? Thank you! Rushabh
Im sorry but i do not get why you say it is a workaround. It is a feature and i do not think there is anything like the main output (whatever you put the menubar on becomes the main output automatically) You can even move the entire screen on any side in the same pref panel. I would say a workaround is something like secondbar(google it).. to make the menubar appear on both Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/219024-outputs-of-my-graphics-card-are-inverted/#findComment-1474115 Share on other sites
Romano2K
I talked too early, before trying with the softwares in which I thought it would cause problems (like VLC). So thank you very much for your help, I didn't knew about this simple solution.
