Urbz
hey everyone, i need to reinstall mac os x [again] and i have the JaS 10.4.6 prepatched dvd. I sorta need to move around some files in terminal before i can go on with the actual install however. Now i know exactly what I would do normally, but this isn't normal! Booting from the install DVD, i am unable to locat my hard drive/partition in terminal, although yes i know it is mounted and working because of disk utility. Also, i can't even use the find command to search for the volumes folder: it never finds it! So my question is: where can i access my files from terminal.app on the install dvd? Thank you, Urby Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21844-terminal-helping-you-install/ Share on other sites
