masri01
Hi all, Today I am attempting to install Snow Leopard retail on my Hp Compaq DC9700. However I have downloaded many boot-132 images and I cant seem to boot into the installation process. I have also changed my bios settings to "AHCI". Now my question is, how the hell can I bootup my pc into snow leopard installation process. This is the closest I have gone to. Other boot-132 images will lock up and a blank screen with no keyboard light once I try booting into a Snow Leopard Retail disk. Now I need your help? I have been up all night just to get into the installation process.
neil43
I looked for the specs on your DC9700 and did not find much. I also searched and did not find where anyone has hacked this system. So I assume that you know the details such as processor, memory, chip set, audio chip, ethernet chip, etc. If this were my problem, I would start with trying to bring up Leopad using IPC final 10.5.6. Or you could try TonyMacX86 #####/##### from here . Again you are pretty much on your own as there is not much on the net on this system. neil
