  1. I also URGENTLY need the G41M_Files.zip. Please!!!
  2. Hi all, Today I am attempting to install Snow Leopard retail on my Hp Compaq DC9700. However I have downloaded many boot-132 images and I cant seem to boot into the installation process. I have also changed my bios settings to "AHCI". Now my question is, how the hell can I bootup my pc into snow leopard installation process. This is the closest I have gone to. Other boot-132 images will lock up and a blank screen with no keyboard light once I try booting into a Snow Leopard Retail disk. Now I need your help? I have been up all night just to get into the installation process.

    iATKOS 10.5.7 (Acer 5738G)

Really? Hmm, I installed Voodoo PS/2 Trackpad kext and it worked perfectly for me.. What notebook you using? Also I would like to thank rockingturtle, I can now boot properly instead of rebooting many times just to get into OSX. Also wireless isn't a big deal, today I went past a electronics store and picked up a Netgear WG111v2 using RTL8185L drivers from realtek.

Sweet! Thanks a lot man! Now all I need to fix is the boot-up problem, it might be DSDT related, probably doesn't read my AHCI properly! but I might be wrong, I have no experience with DSDT. If anyone knows a solutions to my boot-up problem, please let me know ASAP! Once again thanks razvizion it worked!

    iAtkos v7 Problem

I am having a very similar problem as you, my keyboard and trackpad do not work sometimes, then I have to reboot until it works. I am also using iATKOS v7.
  7. Hi Insanelymac Members, I just finished installing iATKOS v7 10.5.7 and I have multiple problems which I listed at the bottom of this thread. My problems: Sometimes my acer 5738g wont bootup properly to iATKOS, so I have to reboot until it successfully boots iATKOS. EDIT: Fixed using rockingturtles guide : Intel 5100 WiFi doesn't work. Not sure if there would be a kext for it in the future. Sometimes the trackpad and keyboard don't work, so I have to reboot iATKOS. EDIT: It's been fixed, thanks to razvizion!. Make sure you pick Voodoo PS/2 + Trackpad. Also these are the packages that I select during the installation: Chameleon 2 DSDT patch Apple Decrypt Voodoo Battery SMBBIOS EFI AIR Disabler Both the packages for GT200 & EVGA, You would also need to download XDarwin Nvidia Installer v1.1: Download Here. You would also have to pick Nvidia 9 Series & EFI during the installation. Intel Speedstep - Voodoo Power Intel SATA/IDE - ICHX Sound - Voodoo HDA PS/2 Apple driver, Didn't work I picked Voodoo PS/2 + Trackpad Instead! So far there is no Intel 5100 WiFi and not sure if there ever will be a kext for it.

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

I managed installing snow leopard but I end up getting kernel panics and then it freezes. So when I restart my machine, my bios corrupts. I can only boot up to safe mode My error - I'm currently using my system that is displayed in my rig.
