shadowmoses Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Try and pick one up on eBay they are far cheaper I managed to get an Intel D915GUX for £20 or about $40 this is because not many manufacturers make the older more compatible chip-sets like that of the D915GUX and therefore charge more for the newer Motherboards, do some research on a motherboard you want (i would suggest an intel one) and find one on eBay and get bidding.... Mine was about $80 new, and still seems to be around that price over a year later http://www.xpcgear.com/915gmfr.html Everything works out of the box except the ide raid controller I think (I don't use it, it's noticably slow under any OS).
