ernando Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Hi all, someone here posting about flashing and overcloaking Radeon 9550 BIOS with Radeon 9600 BIOS, read here. Has anyone try this ? Is it safe ? I have HIS Radeon 9550 with 256MB/128bit, from the page in techpowerup it said that I'm using Mezza memory, am I correct ? And searching through the web only found one 9600 card that match that is Sapphire 9600 non pro. Is this the the correct choice ? emrwe Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 before you try to upgrade use atitool to show maximum overlock values and use to download techpowerups bios with this values. i got 9550 but i dont need to do that. I would sometimes have to reboot several times before I saw the POST screen.
