xSuRgEx Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 http://www.microsoft.com/mac/default.aspx?pid=msnmessenger i downloaded the Microsoft Messenger 5.0 .dmg it installed fine and runs with no problems. however if i log out and back in its no where to be seen ive looked in the applacations folder. and searched for it with soptlight and i cant find it. if i download it again and run the dmg osx mounts it and then it runs. if i deleate this .dmg and put my mouse over the msn icon on the dock i get a ? over the icon. the same thing goes for deekpark. i cant seem to make it stay installed do i have to mount the .dmg's each time i want to load the programs or what? Sorry I know this is flamebait. But really, lol. On another note, MSN Messenger 5.0 is a big improvement over its predecessor. I'm impressed to see that Microsoft Mac is still trying. Now, they need to bring the ever pitiful WMP back to speed. Somehow I don't think there will ever be an update for that trashy application.
