SurferSD
Well, we are all aware that the kernel is badly out of date and needs to be updated. Everyone has been looking at JaS and Maxxus (Sorry if I just butchered your handles... I tried google'ng them both before posting) to patch it, but has anyone else done any work on it? I have a Dell E1405 with Duo Core and would love to see both cores up and running. I will assist in any way I can. Thanks, -- Ryan
Ouch
I'm no expert but it is my understanding that the kernel makes calls to EFI functions that you need a working implementation of apples EFI firmware to be able to update the kernel. OF course there is probably some l33t h4x0r way of getting around this but i can't comment on that...
quixos
i don't care about the kernel, if it works it isn't broken. what we need, are the 10.4.7 CoreServices files decrypted.
gwprod12
badly out of date is running a Quadra 660. The kernel's from 10.4.4(or 3?). It's slightly out of date.
