huong23
I've got deadmoo's image installed on a partition on my athlon 64 PC. When I use platform=ACPI, I can't complete a restart from within OSX. When I use X86PC switch, I can't shutdown properly. Booting with verbose switch shows some ACPI messages: Does ACPI button have something to do with my shutdown / restart problem? huong23
What should this screenshot show? Does it hang there? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea..my PC would hang right there (after installation of a wireless driver). Just wondering if there's a way to get OSx86 to work properly with ACPI on my Athlon 64 so I can reboot/shutdown properly. My laptop has no problem with reboot or shutdown (maybe it's the Intel chipset..where as the Athlon uses Nforce chipset). Only some configurations can do both in ACPI. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2143-acpi-error/#findComment-14240 Share on other sites
