stevns
after install and reboot loading freeze on blue screen again and forever. p.s. Z60T : Pentium 750 (Sonoma), 512 DDR, SATA 60 Gb, Intel GMA 900. Wide 1280x800 14" Screen I got the same laptop. You have to plugin an external monitor to get i to work. After the install, you'll need a VGA dongle to boot. Look in the forum for guide to this. The networkcards doesn't work, so if you hear anything about this, please let me know. Rammjet
Still working on wifi. What is the model number of the wireless, or better yet, what chipset? Go into Windows -> Device Manager and find the wireless device. Get Properties on it and click on the Details tab. Get the VEN and DEV codes. Rammjet
Why not use the "newer" file in the instruction link? The instruction link is OLDER (Jun 2) than the file link (Jun 14). well, we both got z60t, so: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=125248 Word! That is for your WIRED ethernet not your WIRELESS. Snap!

Rammjet
Sure, need vendor id and device id as requested in posting 6 above. Make a string of the form: "pci" + (vendor id) + "," + (device id) (Should look something like pci106b,0086) Add that string to this file: /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros5424.kext/Contents/Info.plist Delete the files: /System/Library/Extensions.mkext and /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache Run Disk Utility and repair permissions on your OSX partition Reboot and cross your fingers. stevns
Okay, this is what i did: I owerwrote this segment in the file: <array> [tab]<string>pci106,0086></string> [tab]<string>pci168c,1c></string> <array> with this: <array> [tab]<string>pci106,0086></string> [tab]<string>pci168c,1014></string> <array> didn't change anything else.
