spvn Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 i know that it's possible to download the whole patched iso, however, it's taking me forever to get it. so i was wondering if it's possible to patch a retatil mac osx disc as i have one... is it easier?? or should i just forget abt it and juz wait to get the patched version?? belgrano Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 It's not possible with a retail Mac OS X disc as this is PPC build. You need the Restore disc (from a Intel based Mac). It involved chaning out the oah750 and oah750d files and creating a boot disc. It worked using the hdiutil command from osx.
