I don't know if this is common knowledge yet, but I have had much difficulty in finding NTFS read/write support booting in 64bit (yes I've tried the native methods) until...

First installing:

Tuxera NTFS - http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/

Secondly installing Tomas Carnecky's recompiled

Macfuse - http://caurea.org/2009/09/15/unofficial-ma...-64bit-kernels/

You do not need any application

just a command, USE THE SEARCH: NTFS snow

The simple reboot (after adding any new NTFS drive) is not much of an issue, since it stays permanently in yoru Snow every time you re-connect it again that Drive.

Forget about that application, it used to be Open Source, now its Commercial $ :/ not worth it anymore

You can try this and it's free - http://ntfsmounter.com/support.html

I've tested it on my system. Works without problem. :)
