I think SilentViper is going to try it, anyway I suggest you trying by yourself (also to have more checks over the method to follow to make ati cards works... Anyway I think it might work as these cards all use similar technologies... Unless those are the same for both cards, take a look at your ioreg output again. Monkey D. Luffy Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 When I tried that dsdt patch last month (on my 4650), I really had a weird experience - I learned it from tonymac's blog. Instead of detecting my 4650 video card, it detected my G31 chipset/internal video card which is GMA 3100 .. lol. It was listed in my System Preferences .. really really weird.
