Motawa
Hey. Ive got an 10.6.2 retail installation. I installed a ati 3650 but then i got the "turn off your computer screen". Then i installed the 3650 10.5.x driver from this forum. Now the system boots but i have to type in my password to log on (didnt need that before) but when i enter the correct password ill get a blue screen and then back to login. Then i put my grx260 in my computer back and now even this doesnt work. Same problem at the login. Before i intalled the pkg file i could run the system with my gtx 260. What can i do now? tried -x -f but no solution. Tried to delete some kext from system library extensions (the ati ones) but no difference. I dont have a dvd drive or another mac os x computer. Only windows partition with macdrive 8. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211129-stuck-on-login-screen-after-3650-pkg/ Share on other sites
Mushishi
2 things. 1. leopard drivers for graphics dont work in snow leopard. 2. only RadeonHD 4xx0 cards have full support in snow leopard that means other cards might get gray screen, grablet screen etc etc aka not working other in vesa mode when you remove all ATI drivers. So boot to -s and remove all ati drivers and the injector that got installed together with the ati leopard drivers and your GTX260 will work again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211129-stuck-on-login-screen-after-3650-pkg/#findComment-1412909 Share on other sites
