I installed my 4850 using the guide provided here:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=155477

Now I see allot of resolutions in the list and all of them are working, but I need

1440x900 (19" widescreen)

and I can't find it.

How can I manually install this resolution?

in com.apple.boot.plist

<key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1440x900x32</string>

Tried this already bro, I does change to 1440x900, but when it gets to the desktop, it changes back to the one selected in "Displays"

ENVY YOU,BRO, I STILL DIDNT GET THE OS YET,,ANY ADVICE FOR SONY FW520 ,

BUMP FOR YOU

Try iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 Lite

You can get full resolution on that 4650, but it's not fully supported yet.

I have a VAIO NW120J, got everything working with iDeneb except for the network, so make sure you check which network adapter your vaio has, and check if it's supported before trying to install.
