It depends on how different the GPU's are. Remember, the GMA3100 wasn't close enough to the GMA950; the GMA4500 wasn't close enough to the GMAX3100... junoir Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 just wait for the new macbooks with i3, i5, i7. They have an integrated graphics chip, which is basically a 4500 at a higher clock speed(667 vs 500 or so). apple will have to deliver this IGP because the graphics chip is integrated with the cpu and thus Intel won't redesign the chip just for Apple.
