asstastic Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 hiya there. there seem to be a growing number of people with aspire 5670 systems joining the forums lately. no one i know has gotten any of the hardware you mentioned working yet. i think if we started a forum topic for 5670 owners and did some research into the hardware in these systems we might get some or all of the components working. if a solution comes up i'll be sure to notify ya. gregor Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 Ji.. I have Acertravelmate 4672 WLMI, I have 10.4.7 on my laptop too, without Wlan, audio and ATI x1400. I did some research trough google, wiki and this forum. Everything that I had tried did not work or eaven made kernel panic. If you have any other solution... Please let me know. The sound , you can fix it , with the azalia patched driver , I dont have now the link , but if you search in forum , I think you don´t have problems for find it. About wireless , you can try to change the minipci , for a Dell 1390, Im awating one for do it , so i can tell you how going for me. About the network , if you are using windows and mac osx , when you go out from windows to mac, deactivate the NIC in the control panel , and reboot , after this the network driver for mac, can activate the NIC and you can surf the web. Also if you can in a detailed way explain this to me, it would be much appreciated, I really would rather use Mac OS X but I cannot get any internet connection to my laptop making it useless for me...
