HELP! SnowOSX 3.6 Universal installation on SONY VAIO

Hi Guys!

 

I've SONY VAIO CR220E notebook running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit perfectly...

 

Specs: Intel Core 2 Due 2.0GHz

 

RAM 2GB DDR2

 

Serial ATA 200GB Hard(4200rpm)

 

Intel GMA X3100 VGA 358mb

 

Native Resolution 1280x800

 

I,ve been reading n following up on OSx86 project lately n find out its very much possible on Intel Machine or PC. So i googled n downloaded SnowOSX3.6 Universal Distro based on Snow Leopard 10.6.2 which i burned on DVD(bootable)4.6GB

 

So now i want to make Dual Booting system of Windows 7 and Mac OSX on my Sony Vaio cr200e.

 

I need suggestions of EXPERTS to tell me 1st is it possible on this Vaio Hardware????

 

If yes then provide me installation guide step by step....

ok i here i just gave a try to instal SnowOSX3.6 on vaio...but no luck it crashed

 

wht i did...i made Primary partition of 30GB on my Hard n Active it from command prompt

 

then set the boot menu to boot from DVD...booted in pressed F8 n then code -v...

 

then DOS strings went on... after few minuts it went to white/grey screen n stuck!!! no key worked nothing.

 

 

 

what that means to be???

 

please help meto go through it

to answer you "expert" question - don't know - never seen one of them

so - what about using the search function to find out more about your vaio ???

(if the search enginge didn't like you - use google with a string like that: site:insanelymac.com CR220E

 

i never used the "universal" stuff - didn't wirk most of the times - it's better to get the original dvd, modify it and install the snow kitty - thats what i did with my 2 netbooks

 

best way to start the project is: make a list with your hardware and the "solution" (kexts..) to get the job done - when you have all your components listed with the possible solution - collect the stuff and make your own "distro" - if you did it right, it will work - if not - try harder

what application can be use for custom OSX Distribution?? i mean how can add Patch .kext files into OSX .ISO so that can get the job done

When you go into the boot options (F8) type in -v -x -F

If it says still waiting for root device then you don't have RAID activated.
