Snnoooowwyyy
I tried installing Parallels 5 on my Snow Leopard..But it showed that it can only be run on hardware virtualization supported hardware... Is there any way I can run it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209078-parallels-5/ Share on other sites
ameris_cyning
Sorry dude, but you are out of luck. Last parallels version to not require VT-x was 3.0, but unfortunately, you cannot use it in Snow Leopard. VirtualBox can be run without VT-x or AMD-V, but this requires some editing of XML files. This is weird. I have a MPB running Snow Leopard and it came with Paralells. I didn't try to install it though.
