balanis
I installed JAS 10.4.6. with PPF1 on my PM2MP (VIA chipset) Celeron 340 D computer. When I go into "About this Mac" it reports the CPU speed as 1.5 GHz on my 2.93 GHz CPU. Any ideas? The wiki shows that someone else had thier 2.93 GHz Celeron 340 D reported as 3.2 GHz. Just curious, anyone else run into this? BTW, when the installer ran in verbose mode, I noticed it recognized the CPU correctly, 2.93 GHz Celeron, so I don't have any clue why it is reporting it incorrectly in the OS. jimmsta
On my Celeron 2.0ghz cpu, it was reported as 2.6GHz. I was running 10.4.6 at the time. The system is currently undergoing a re-install cycle, and is running Ubuntu, which correctly identify's the CPU.
