Basically, the 945 is like the MB or mini, only better if you can get the ATIX1600 working *for final cut for example. Not everything works, for example, I cant boot to SATA for some reason, but again, I've only spent $350 for a motherboard, DDR2 and CPU and am just about on par with dual G5 so can I complain? If someday MAC becomes competitive (Forget the hardware snobbery, that's GONE, out the window, ka-put) and starts offering systems that are more in line with PC products then they may have a better chance at market share. Anyway, yes, that will work out of the box, get a USB or FIREWIRE audio and your all set. You will need a 24 pin (not 20) PSU (power supply for this board though...just FYI...
