Any problem with the installation or any function of the program? I don't mean to lose in the change, or I'd better stay with the previous version! I know your system is very different from mine, but did you encounter any problem with firewire ports? I can't read my brand new LaCie external hard disk, also if the System Profiler recognizes it FCP 7 has been flawless for me...
