xenophex
Sounds like you just need to install Chameleon RC3 or 4 to your main drive. Google for it, and follow the directions in the docs/readme. Little terminal work to set the disk, and copy the boot file to your drive. tria
Hi there I use the same graphic card as you (asus en9800gt 512 ddr3) and it works fine but the picture seems to be squashed, think of it as displaying 3:4 video in 16:9 ratio I used Kakewalk for installing 10.6.2 vanilla Any suggestions? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208061-boot-issue-in-snow-leopard-1062/#findComment-1432521 Share on other sites

tria
Can you verify that Quartz extreme is working correctly? I tested that with http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/#quartzextremecheck and it said that the display is accelerated.... tria
I tested that with http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/#quartzextremecheck and it said that the display is accelerated.... Problem solved: I used a DVI to VGA adapter. But I have the vague feeling that Apple dropped VGA support in 10.6 (maybe somebody could confirm that or not?) or it's a Kakewalk thing.... However now I can choose screen resolution and have full QE/CI support...
