I have the same one and it's not coming up. There's no support and I even tried adding the pci168c,12 to the Atheros kext to no avail. gwprod12
OS X is Linux? LOL OS X isnt Unix, neither is Linux. They're both flavors of *nix. OS X/Darwin is based on BSD. BSD != Linux Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20657-wifi-problem/#findComment-137177 Share on other sites
naviathan
I have an Atheros b/g card that reads as pci168c,13 and I can't get it to work. I thought this was one of the cards that was recognized as an Airport according to some of threads on here? Yours has the same VEN ID and DEV ID as mine, but mine is recognized as an AirPort right after installed. Auggie
Ok I've got it narrowed down but I'm curious as to whether anyone knows if OS X will detect the 4306 Broadcomm chipset, everyone on here says it'll read the 4309 but nothing about 4306.
