Hey, I recently cloned snow leopard to a different drive today, becuase the one it was on was not the one I wanted it on. I booted it up a few time on the new drive and it worked like a charm. I decided to go ahead and delete the original snow leopard because I figured that it worked like it was supposed to, then proceed to reboot (I did this just to check that it still worked). At first I got an error because the computer had been booting from the old hard drive, not the new one, and there was no longer a bootloader on the old drive. I changed it to the new drive, and got the same error (I used gparted to check to make sure the boot flags were correct, which they were).

I tried booting into windows and using easybcd to get into snow leopard to reinstall chameleon, which didn't work.

I then proceeded to boot my leopard install disk and try to install chameleon form that (it had some I could under the alternate boot loaders thing in the customization thing, and that didn't work.

Is there an easy way to install chameleon from windows (which I can get into if needed) or linux (I can boot a live CD), or from a CD or flash drive, or is there a bootloader I can use to get into snow leoapard that will work from a CD or flash drive?

After that, the only option I have is to waist a couple of hours reinstalling leopard on a different partition and using the boot loader from that to get into snow leopard.

Maybe try empire EFI or what kexts do you need in your chameleon? There maybe a bootcd on here somewhere.

I killed a W7 install a while ago by installing bot think for windows, wouldn't go near it again, probably my fault but the documentation for it is a mess.
